Deloitte Bulgaria's tax practice was introduced 26 years ago and introduced its transfer pricing service line in June 2017, as the tax authority increased its focus in this area. The practice assists with producing transfer pricing documentation, policies, advisory, and assistance during tax and transfer pricing audits and checks. The team consists of 10 professionals and senior manager Alexander Stefanov is a key individual.

The firm has experience advising multinational companies on complex transfer pricing matters whether contentious or non-contentious. The team assists companies with aligning their transfer pricing procedures to comply with the legislation and limit tax risk. Vira Torova, partner, leads the tax practice.

The team assisted Ecolab with updating its transfer pricing reports and guidelines regarding its Bulgarian subsidiaries.

Savov & Partners

Savov & Partners advises on all types of business, legal and tax services for its domestic and international clients. The firm has advised clients on TP legislation on certain controlled transactions, drafting intragroup services and cost-spreading agreements. Valentin Savov leads the tax practice. He has been appointed as an expert witness by the tax authority in multiple TP cases regarding tax audit and disputes. 

Earlier this year Savov was appointed as an expert witness to give his opinion on transfer pricing matters for one of the biggest online retailers in Bulgaria. His role involved analysing transactions and services, contracts, and conducting a transfer pricing study.
