Deloitte’s Estonian office is based in Tallinn. Ivo Vanasaun is senior manager of tax and head of transfer pricing at the firm. Vanasaun is a specialist in tax, M&A, corporate restructuring and transfer pricing.
Over the last year the firm has assisted in the development of a cost contribution arrangement on a pan-Baltic level for a bank. The team has also assisted a client in the development of a cost allocation methodology for its business support services.
The EMEIA Tax Center at EY is organised as a supranational entity covering the entire Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) region, with its Intercompany Effectiveness and operational transfer pricing practice serving clients’ needs across all jurisdictions.
Led by Oslo-based partner Sveinung Baumann-Larsen, it brings together multi-disciplinary experience and resources focused on IT, accounting, and tax from the entire region in its work. This work covers some of the leading global companies in their respective fields and includes those involved in retail and consumer products, energy and pharmaceuticals, to name but a few.
Sorainen has a recognised team in the Baltic States. Paul Künnap and Pekka Puolakka lead the transfer pricing team in Estonia.
Last year Sorainen assisted a number of high-value companies in transfer pricing matters.
Norman Aas joined the firm as counsel in September 2017.
TGS Baltic is a pan-Baltic firm with offices in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Partner and head of the Estonian tax practice Helmut Pikmets works on transfer pricing matters at the firm. Senior associate Sergei Jegorov and attorney Vitali Šipilov also work with the team in this area.
The team has acted as legal advisor to RGR Metall and RGR Airon over the last year. They supported the client with transfer pricing, transactional tax and indirect tax matters.
